The Chicago rap star, born Durk Banks, faces severe legal jeopardy over federal charges stemming from a fatal 2022 shooting near the Beverly Center.That targeted ambush left Saviay’a Robinson dead, who was the cousin of rival artist Quando Rondo.
Federal prosecutors argue that the hit was an organized act of retaliation funded by Durk following the tragic 2020 killing of his close friend and Only The Family flagship artist, King Von.Durk’s legal team has mounted a fierce defense, maintaining his innocence while pushing back against prosecutor narratives and attempting to shift blame onto former associates and co-defendants.
