Ghanaian rapper Awal Mohammed, widely known as Awal, has publicly apologised to fellow musicians Fameye, Medikal and Strongman, admitting that he has offended several people within the music industry and is now facing the consequences of his actions.

Awal, who first gained national recognition as a talented child rapper on the TV reality show Talented Kidz, later built a reputation as one of Ghana’s promising hip-hop acts and was at one point regarded by many as a protégé of rap icon Sarkodie. His public appeal for forgiveness has been widely discussed on social media, with many fans commending him for taking responsibility and expressing hope that the three artistes will accept his apology.

The heartfelt moment has also sparked conversations about humility, reconciliation and personal growth in Ghana’s music industry, with many believing the rapper’s willingness to publicly admit his mistakes could mark the beginning of a new chapter in his career. (Instagram)
