The Ghana Music Awards USA (GMA-USA) is set to host its 2026 edition on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Carnegie Center in Princeton, New Jersey, under the theme “Music for the Stars.”
Dubbed “Biggest Music Night,” the ceremony will celebrate Ghanaian musical excellence across the diaspora, bringing together artistes, industry stakeholders and music lovers from Ghana, the United States and beyond.
The red carpet will begin at 5:00 p.m., with the main awards ceremony scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The event will feature performances from some of Ghana’s finest talents, including Wendy Shay, Piesie Esther, Stella Seal and Kwabena Kwabena, while comedian OB Amponsah will handle the comedy segment.
This year’s awards will feature 35 competitive categories, with 24 categories dedicated to Ghanaian artistes based in the United States and 11 recognising artistes and industry players in Ghana.
Organisers say the awards continue to serve as a platform for celebrating Ghanaian music, strengthening diaspora connections and promoting Ghana’s creative industry on the global stage.
