Ghanaian-born lawyer Marie Bliss has responded to the swirling divorce rumours surrounding her marriage to Nigerian gospel musician Moses Bliss with a very different kind of message.
As she celebrated her 27th birthday, Marie publicly thanked her husband for making the occasion memorable with a week-long celebration filled with love, thoughtful gestures and family moments.
The lawyer shared a video on social media capturing highlights from her birthday celebrations, including sweet moments with Moses and their young son.
In one of the clips, Moses is seen walking through an airport while holding his son’s hand. Another shows the gospel musician carrying the little boy on his shoulders, offering followers a glimpse into their family life.
Alongside the video, Marie described Moses as her “king” and praised him for consistently going above and beyond to make her feel special.
“A glimpse into a treasured week of birthday celebrations with my most treasured people ❤️. Thank you, my king @mosesbliss, for surprising me and going above and beyond for me as you have always done,” she wrote.
According to Marie, the celebrations did not stop on her actual birthday. She said the extended celebration left her overwhelmed by the level of love and attention shown to her by her husband.
“A week-long celebration into my birthday and beyond has left me speechless, and I’m so grateful for your care and love. You’re one in a billion. Thank you from the depths of my heart,” she added.
Marie also used the opportunity to highlight Moses’ role as a father, describing him as a loving parent who goes out of his way to put smiles on the faces of his family.
“I, along with our son, am truly blessed to have a wonderful father and husband who looks for ways to put a smile on our faces,” she stated.
She then asked her followers to join her in celebrating Moses for his kindness and thoughtfulness.
“Please help me bless him for his thoughtfulness and kindness. I love you ❤️,” she concluded.
Marie’s affectionate message comes at a time when speculation about trouble in the couple’s marriage has been circulating online. Rather than adding fuel to the rumours, her birthday tribute paints a picture of a couple enjoying family moments and celebrating one another.
