Young Ghanaian Artiste Maameyaa Wells Releases 6-Track EP

Nine-year-old Ghanaian artiste, dancer and humanitarian Maameyaa Wells has officially released her debut 6-track EP, marking an exciting new chapter in her growing music career.

The young performer’s latest project features six songs: “Be Content,” “Im Money,” “Stay Hard,” “Cyber Bullying,” “Together We Stand,” and “Backbiting.”

Across the six tracks, Maameyaa explores a range of themes and messages aimed at inspiring young listeners and encouraging positive values. The songs touch on contentment, perseverance, unity, the challenges of cyberbullying, and how to navigate negativity and criticism.

The release showcases another side of Maameyaa Wells, who has already gained attention for her dancing and stage performances. Beyond entertainment, she has also been involved in humanitarian activities through the Wells Aid Foundation, reflecting her interest in using her platform to make a positive impact.

At just 9 years old, Maameyaa has taken a significant step by releasing a full EP, placing her among Ghana’s youngest artistes to embark on such a musical project.

The release further highlights her versatility as a young creative, combining music, dance and advocacy as she continues to develop her artistic identity.

With over 25 years of experience in the music industry, Richmond Adu-Poku adeptly integrates his expertise in writing, music, and entrepreneurship. He serves as the General Secretary of the Ghana Association of the Phonographic Industry (GAPI) and the CEO of Ghana Music Live. Richmond is also a sought-after consultant for key industry players, including MUSIGA. In addition to his creative roles, he works full-time as a business consultant.
