The ongoing drama between Ghanaian rap heavyweight Sarkodie and dancehall star Stonebwoy has taken another turn, with the spotlight now shifting to the managers behind the two music giants.

The latest development came after Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town, shared screenshots of a private WhatsApp conversation with Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylz, on social media. The post appeared intended to challenge Stonebwoy’s account of events surrounding Sarkodie’s team and BHIMFest.

According to Stonebwoy, Angel Town had initially reached out to Chief Stylz concerning Sarkodie’s team performing at BHIMFest. Angel Town’s decision to publish the private exchange was seemingly aimed at providing a different version of how the communication unfolded.

Chief Stylz, however, was unimpressed.

In his response, he described the screenshots as irrelevant and urged Angel Town to remember the responsibilities that come with managing two of Ghana’s biggest music acts.

Chief Stylz specifically criticized the decision to make the private conversation public, calling it “unfortunate and unnecessary.” He emphasized that, given their positions, both managers should maintain professionalism and focus on the business side of the artists’ careers.

He also appeared to call for a shift in approach in 2026, describing the year as one of “torch, light and truth.” Rather than having managers fuel the public back-and-forth, he suggested that the artists should be allowed to speak for themselves while their respective teams concentrate on handling business.

In a post on X, Chief Stylz reiterated his position, stressing that sharing their private chats was unnecessary considering the important roles both men occupy behind the scenes.

His message was clear: let the artists express themselves, while the managers keep the business moving.

Whether the exchange will finally help calm the tension between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy remains uncertain. For now, however, the feud has expanded beyond the artists themselves, with the battle for clarity playing out just as loudly behind the scenes as it has in public.
