Kweku Smoke may have called his latest project No Days Off, but judging by what is happening on the Apple Music Ghana charts, the rapper apparently took that title personally.
The Ghanaian hip hop heavyweight is currently enjoying a serious streaming party, with his latest release taking over a huge chunk of the country’s Top 10.
Following the release of No Days Off, Kweku Smoke took to social media to celebrate a chart performance that would make any artist check their phone twice. Nine out of the 13 songs on the project have reportedly found their way into the Apple Music Ghana Top 10.
Yes, nine.
At this point, the chart is beginning to look less like a competition and more like Kweku Smoke’s private playlist.
The rapper launches his takeover right at the summit, with “Bombele,” “Faith,” “Survivor,” “Bra,” and “Soul Healer” occupying the number one through five positions respectively.
Then comes the lone interruption.
Black Sherif’s “Jolie” manages to break the Kweku Smoke monopoly at number six, giving the rest of Ghana’s music industry a tiny window to breathe.
But the relief does not last long.
Kweku Smoke immediately storms back into the remaining positions, with “Halleluyah” sitting at number seven, “Life Of A Hustler” at number eight, “Power House” at number nine, and “Mmereniho” rounding off the Top 10 at number ten.
That means Kweku Smoke has effectively turned nine positions out of the country’s Top 10 into advertisements for No Days Off.
And honestly, the project did exactly what its title promised.
Taking to X to react to the impressive chart showing, the rapper kept things remarkably simple. He posted a brief “Thank you” alongside a prayer emoji.
No long speech. No victory lap. No 27-slide explanation.
When nine songs are already doing the talking for you, there is really not much left to say.
For Kweku Smoke, it appears the No Days Off campaign is not just about releasing music. It is about making sure the charts remember his name too.
