If you usually write off online prophecies as digital clutter, Ghanaian rapper YPee has a story that will make you pause your daily doom-scroll. Sitting down with host MC Portfolio, the artist opened up for the first time about a startling brush with destiny that he previously kept under wraps.
The drama began when friends sent him a clip of a pastor issuing a grim warning on a Saturday. The preacher claimed the musician was headed straight for a car crash. Rather than brushing it aside like most viral noise, the video rattled YPee enough to make him consider taking spiritual countermeasures.
Fate, however, moved much faster than his schedule allowed. Just five days after the broadcast, on a Thursday, the prediction materialized in a terrifying crash.
“I’ve never spoken about this, so this is my first time,” YPee confessed during the interview. “My friends forwarded a video to me when a pastor was prophesying that I would be involved in an accident. He said it on a Saturday, and the next Thursday, I was involved in a serious accident.”
While the initial video was alarming, the sheer speed at which the prophecy played out left him genuinely stunned.
Navigating an industry where public figures get tagged in apocalyptic warnings every afternoon, YPee admitted it is tricky to separate valid foresight from attention-seeking clickbait. When your inbox is a nonstop parade of spiritual hot takes, filtering out actual wisdom requires extra discernment.
“Whenever I go on social media, I see a lot of messages in my DMs, people saying a lot,” he noted. “So, if you’re not careful, you would not believe it when a pastor prophesies about you.”
