The second edition of the ABINCHI Festival brought thousands of people together at the Madina Astroturf on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for a day of free food, music and community celebration.
Founded and led by celebrated musician and police officer Hajia Saada, popularly known as Hajia Police, the festival aims to support less privileged members of society while promoting compassion, generosity and unity. Attendees received free hot meals and enjoyed performances from artistes who volunteered their time to entertain the crowd.
Rooted in the spirit of charity and giving back, the festival demonstrated how entertainment can be combined with meaningful social impact. Support from Maccawan and A. Rahaman Katari also helped make the outreach possible and extend its reach within the community.
Beyond the music and festivities, ABINCHI Festival 2026 left a lasting message of kindness and social responsibility. With food shared, music enjoyed and smiles created, the event reinforced its mission of feeding bodies, uplifting souls and celebrating humanity; one meal and one song at a time.
