When music feuds get this messy, you apparently do not call the police, you call the former President. Ghanaian musician Captain Planet has decided that the ongoing clash between rap heavyweight Sarkodie and dancehall royalty Stonebwoy has crossed into nation-threatening territory. Taking to social media, the 4×4 hitmaker officially summoned John Dramani Mahama to step in and restore order before the entire internet goes up in flames.

In a brilliantly hilarious post addressed directly to the statesman, Captain Planet respectfully begged the “Father for All” to intervene and settle the rift between his two figurative sons. While calling for peace is a noble gesture, Captain Planet’s motives are not entirely selfless. The singer admitted he has a brand-new track titled “Fulani” dropping on September 16, and he strictly refuses to let his upcoming promo campaign get swallowed whole by social media chaos and distraction.

Adding fuel to the comedy, Captain Planet broke down the exact root of the drama for the former President, highlighting the now-infamous rice dispute. The issue, he explained, boils down to a classic case of unappreciated home cooking. Sarkodie visited Stonebwoy’s house and happily enjoyed a meal, but mistakenly gave the culinary credit to Stonebwoy’s wife, Dr. Louisa. Stonebwoy, on the other hand, insists that he personally stood over the hot stove to prepare the dish, leading to an existential crisis over who actually deserves the praise.

Whether Mahama will drop his political duties to arbitrate a high-profile feud over homemade jollof remains to be seen. In the meantime, music lovers are grabbing their popcorn and counting down to September 16, hoping the digital battlefield clears just in time for Captain Planet’s new release.
