If kindness had a festival, it would undoubtedly be called the ABINCHI Festival.
Following a remarkable debut, the 2nd Edition of the ABINCHI Festival is set to transform the Madina Astroturf on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00 a.m., into a celebration of compassion, community and unforgettable entertainment.
This is no ordinary festival. It is a day dedicated to putting smiles on faces as thousands of underprivileged people will be served breakfast, lunch and supper. It is a powerful reminder that the greatest act of love is sharing with those in need.
The generosity does not end there. The day’s activities will conclude with an exciting live music concert, bringing together some of Ghana’s biggest and brightest stars for an evening of electrifying performances.
The visionary behind this noble initiative is celebrated musician and police officer Hajia Saada, popularly known as Hajia Police. Through the ABINCHI Festival, she continues to demonstrate that true service extends beyond the uniform and the stage. The festival is her heartfelt way of giving back to society while upholding one of Islam’s core teachings, which encourages Muslims to give alms to the poor and care for the less privileged.
Supporting this inspiring cause are Maccawan and A. Rahaman Katari, whose partnership is helping make this annual outreach even bigger and more impactful.
Music lovers can also look forward to an impressive lineup of artistes who are lending their support to the event. The performers include Abochi, Bosoma, Feli Nuna, Kuami Eugene, Maya Blu, Aya Ramzy B and Keche, with more artistes expected to be announced.
