One year after the passing of Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, his second wife, Priscilla Ofori, affectionately known as Odo Broni, has chosen a deeply personal way to keep his memory close by.

During a private ceremony held at the late musician’s East Legon residence to mark the first anniversary of his death, Odo Broni revealed a tattoo of Daddy Lumba’s portrait on her arm, describing it as a permanent expression of the love and cherished memories they shared throughout their marriage.

According to her, the tattoo is more than body art. It is a lasting tribute to the man she loved and a constant reminder that his place in her heart remains unchanged despite his passing.

The emotional gathering brought together family members, friends and close associates to celebrate the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of Charles Kwadwo Fosu, the celebrated musician whose influence continues to shape Ghana’s music scene.

Daddy Lumba passed away on July 26, 2025, at The Bank Hospital in Accra at the age of 60. A year on, the music may have stopped, but the memories continue to play on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
