The musician made the revelation during an interview with broadcaster Serwaa Amihere on GHOne, where the conversation turned to his family and children.

Shatta Wale initially spoke about his known children, Majesty and Leandra, before casually dropping another family detail that immediately caught attention.

“Then I have a son in London,” he revealed.

When Serwaa Amihere asked for the boy’s name, the dancehall star identified him as Jedidiah.

Shatta Wale estimated that his son is between six and eight years old, although he appeared unsure about the exact figure. Apparently, even celebrity dads can occasionally lose track of the mathematics of fatherhood.

A Private Family Chapter

The revelation appears to be the first time Shatta Wale has publicly acknowledged Jedidiah in such detail.

The musician also indicated that he maintains communication with the boy and his mother, suggesting that distance has not completely disconnected the family.

“That’s his mother. She comes to Ghana. I talk to them,” he explained.

His comments suggest that while Jedidiah lives in London, Shatta Wale remains in contact with both his son and the child’s mother.

For years, the musician has been relatively open about aspects of his personal life, particularly his relationship with his children. However, the existence of another son had largely remained outside the public spotlight until now.

Another Chapter in Shatta Wale’s Family Story

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is one of Ghana’s most recognisable dancehall stars and has built a reputation for being as outspoken offstage as he is energetic onstage.

The unexpected revelation adds another chapter to the musician’s much-discussed personal life and gives fans a glimpse into a part of his family that had previously remained private.

With Jedidiah now officially introduced to the public, one thing is certain: Shatta Wale’s family tree just gained another branch, and this time, the announcement came straight from the man himself.
